Blue Lace Cruet

Here is the third of my Guy Sydenham Poole pottery items i found on eBay recently.  This one came with a missing mustard pot lid, but for some reason I had one of those already, which matches perfectly. Nice to reunite them, and the missing lid probably put a few other bidders off, so the rest of the cruet came to me at a bargain price.

  1. I've just picked up a Blue Lace preserve pot with lid like yours, how rare are they? I can't find much information on them and there aren't any on e-bay.

    1. Hi Pat, I've seen a few others on eBay over the years, but I imagine that maybe not so many were made, or maybe not made over a very long period. I guess rarity often doesn't reflect in the value of somthing though.

    1. Hi, complete sets don't seem to come up on eBay so often, but they don't seem to sell for very much money. I think I paid about £15 for mine. Best wishes, Rob
