Third Poole LT Pattern Vase

Yet another LT pattern vase which came from eBay this week. A while back I thought it might be a good idea to collect a number of vases of the same pattern and, as I really liked this jazzy little number, I settled for this one. It also didn't seem to be one of the most common patterns, so I thought it might be a bit of a challenge finding them. Then 3 come along in the space of a month.
Well they make a nice little collection now and show off the different shapes well. Like the other vases this one is just 3 1/2 inches high, its shape no 116 and painted by Gwen Dry, sometime between 1928 and 34. The fourth example I have of this pattern is a bowl of the same hight also, which can be seen here on my web site. I suspect that this pattern was only pained on small items as it perhaps would not easily fit on anything too large. But in lots of ways small makes them all the more collectable, as they'll be easy to house and it is good news for my pocket too.
